The link between laughter and love

If you can’t together laugh at life (and sometimes laugh at each other) you may have an adversarial relationship or a disrespectful relationship or a disinterested relationship or some other kind of distant connection — but it’s doubtful whether, when the laughter dies, you love each other or even like each other very much.
