Making a few points that ought to be obvious but aren’t

These are random points about issues that ought to be obvious but that Democrats successfully obfuscate.

Climate. There is a fundamental difference between Holocaust denial and so-called “climate denial.” I mention this because the Democrats, as they near the end of their ability to milk COVID for power, will return to climate.

Holocaust denial refers to denying a well-documented historic event. It happened. The only question is whether it’s spoken about truthfully or buried through historic revisionism.

Climate denial refers to denying a hypothetical theory about future events. Moreover, those who deny the anthropogenic climate change theory have the advantage of being able to point to decade after decade of climate theories that have proven to be wrong–unsurprising given how complex Earth’s climate is, meaning that it’s impossible for all theories to take all relevant factors into account. No matter how cool-looking the computer model, it’s still “Garbage In, Garbage Out.”

This last point takes on particular relevance since the Nobel Prize for physics, which used to be a hard science, went to computer programmers who designed a climate change prediction program. This is like awarding the prize to a gypsy fortunate teller with the best crystal ball. The Nobel Prize in the sciences is now as meaningful as the Nobel Peace Prize, which is to say, not at all.

Vaccines. Why the enormous pressure on vaccines to the exclusion of treatment? Simple: The vaccines don’t work. The Democrats need COVID because it’s the only thing they’ve got to maintain their current grip on power.

It’s inordinately important that the “vaccines” do not prevent people from either getting or spreading COVID, which means they’re not really vaccines at all (although they may lessen the severity of COVID in some people). Engaging in a multi-front approach (vaccines for those who want them, early intervention, and immune bolstering lifestyle changes) would swiftly see a return to normality that the Democrats cannot allow. Their power depends on keeping at least half the population in a blind panic.

Speaking of panic, here’s a little perspective: There have been roughly 4.8 million reported deaths worldwide out of a world population of 7,800,000,000. That’s a worldwide mortality rate of 0.061% according to the handy-dandy percentage calculator.

In 1918/1919, because of the Spanish Influenza, around 50,000,000 died out of a world population of 1,800,000,000. That’s a roughly 2.8% mortality rate.

And of course, the Black Death is estimated to have killed 30-50% of the world’s population.

When the Europeans unwittingly exposed the indigenous people in the Americas to smallpox, the disease killed up to 90% of the indigenous people because they had no genetic immunity at all to a highly contagious disease that was so bad even when it had become endemic that it had a 20-30% mortality rate for Europeans.

Those of us with the long view and a little common sense recognize the difference between what has become an endemic illness that threatens the very elderly and those with co-morbidities, and a true “we’re all going to die” scourge.
