I can dream, can’t I?

I have a very sick fantasy.  I dream that, although I have no discernible symptoms, I’m nevertheless diagnosed with a very serious disease that has only one known treatment:  three days of complete bed rest, including meals in bed.  Follow that regimen and you’re cured.  Is that a sick dream or what?

This is actually a well known condition. Some believe it is a variant of mononucleosis, but the recovery time does not match the EBV profile. Rarely Rx’s to travel agents are helpful, but the most effective treatment is an attentive spouse, and a high end, sensitive housecleaning/catering service.

I’m feeling a bit better now — as you can tell by the fact that I’m actually typing now — but I don’t know if I’ll work up any enthusiasm for blogging today. [...]
