A new addition to the pantheon of memorable moments in debate history…

If you’re like me, the second the debate ended, you got on your computer to check whether the consensus in the blogosphere jived with your own impressions of the first Presidential debate. I discovered that the general consensus (from both……

    El Gordo,
That song ‘Building a religion’ is incredibly good! The second time I watched it was even better than the first. Inventive, well done!

But here’s where this gets really interesting.

If you go to that weblink to watch the great video:

You’ll notice it’s a YouTube video. If you highlight the YouTube link directly to play:

You’ll see that it has been flagged, and you get this notice:
This video or group may contain content that is inappropriate for some users, as flagged by YouTube’s user community.
To view this video or group, please verify you are 18 or older by signing in or signing up.

But, if you visit the infamous Sandra Bernhardt rant farce:

That’s the video that, you know, begins with this Bernhardt snarl:
“I walk the walk and I talk the talk. So bring the sh*t on. Women started the whole f*cking thing. Now you got Uncle Woman like Sarah Palin who jumps on the sh*t and points her finger at other women. Turncoat b*tch. Don’t you f*cking reference the Old Testament, b*tch.”

That video, anyone can play. The music video, on the other hand, without a single swear word and inventively rhymed, you have to sign up for to play.

No in this case I’m not talking censorship. I’m talking about rabid Obama supporters doing everything they can to squelch free expression. Their definition of the marketplace of ideas is that it’s a place where you do everything in your POWER to silence those who disagree with you.

On the other hand, McCain, Palin, and their supporters love and admire and treasure Free Speech and people’s freedom to express themselves. It’s just something about America.
