“Mommy, your computer’s broken!”

Those are words to strike a chill into ones heart.  Fortunately, it was a false alarm.  The mouse froze because the batteries were dead — but I did have to run out to get some new ones, since we were out of stock.  I still need to calm down from the sheer panic of thinking my computer was out of commission, though.

    Hehe.

Doesn’t your mouse have a charger near the wireless station?

Dear Book buy yourself a logitech cordless mouse and keyboard. I don’t remember which current rendition they are offering then the little tykes won’t be able to fool with the mouse and keyboard. I use a logitech MS-laser 1000 but it’s not available from Logitech these days. You can buy it on-line and don’t even have to drive to the store(s). Or you could order it from TigerDirect with the same result. No batteries needed in the mouse anyway. Not sure on the keyboard as I don’t have a wireless keyboard at the moment.Just the wireless mouse.
