They loooove Obama

I can’t add anything to what brutally honest says here and Flopping Aces says here.  Obama love, as touted in the media, is a product of media love, while polls with over-the-top adulation for Obama are either push polls or polls in which the numbers are seriously skewed.

Okay, I can add something or, rather, Mark Twain (or maybe Benjamin Disraeli) can:  “There are lies, damn lies, and statistics.”

    Flopping Aces reveals the sampling:
    Democrat: 36%
    Republican: 18%
    Independent: 26%

    Say what?

I can see how this happened:

The phone rings, and the happy homeowner (Home) answers.
    Home: “Hello?”

Pollster (Poll): “Good afternoon, Sir. I’m conducting a political poll and I’d like you to participate.”

    Home: “Sure.”

Poll: “Would you identify yourself as a Democrat, an Independent, or, uh, well, one of those Republicans?”

Home: “Conservative Republican, and proud of it, sonny!”

Poll: “Would you characterize yourself as a moderate or a strong Republican.”

    Home: “Strong, man, strong.”

Poll: “Ah… well, I’m sorry, Sir, but you can’t participate.”

    Home: “Well, why not?”

Poll: “This poll is closed to people with mental illness, Sir. I’m sorry.”

    Click.

The art strikes me as a bit of a scam, an artist making money off the gullible. Combined with the polling, though, I get the sense of someone deliberately trying to whip up a civic religion.

I wonder if there was any state sponsorship of this display?

Very interesting how people who will piss on Christianity in a second will expropriate explicit Christian imagery when they want to make a point as powerfully as possible.

It is ridiculously easy to manipulate the public using polls. After all, when has our public or private education systems ever emphasized the tools of psychological warfare and the art of propaganda or even the art of war?

Zip, that’s what. And like always, the person armed with knowledge and skills and weaps will absolutely eviscerate the young, foolish, foppish arrogant aristos.

Of course, the Democrat puppetmasters pride themselves on “not believing” the crack tard that their tools believe in.

Arafat could educate us all on how that works. And Jim Jones certainly could tell us the importance of making sure the doubters below you are forced to do what is right with that Kool Aid and their children.
