Really interesting stuff today which is all going to get piled into one post

My gosh! Stuff is flying out all over the place. Iwas just explaining centrifugal force to my son today, and discussing the energy required to make a moving object move on a curve. Since he first appeared on the scene, Obama and his facilitator, the MSM, have both been working overtime energy-wise to curve data so that Americans do not have a full understanding of what’s happening in front of them. As the Obama team lose energy, though, with the disastrous health care initiative (disastrous for us if it passes, disastrous for Obama if it doesn’t), the team is losing the energy to keep things from flying off in all directions. And my God are they flying! So:
The biggest thing, of course, is the fall out from the ACORN tapes that Andrew Breitbart revealed on Big Government. You know those tapes, right? The ones revealing that ACORN operatives in four states cheerfully advised a pimp and his prostitute (in reality, youthful and innovative undercover operatives) how to set up a brothel with underaged illegal aliens, and how to obtain tax benefits while doing so. Charles Gibson may honestly disclaim all knowledge, but others are sitting up and taking notice. But wait, there’s more!
The Radio Patriot writes (and very good authority confirms) that the lid is coming off the story regarding Valerie Jarrett. This matters enormously, because Valerie Jarrett is referred to, even in the most loving Democratic circles, as the consigliere. She is the brains behind the operation and Obama defers to her in all things. Unfortunately for the Obamas, Jarrett has quite this history. We already know some of it, but it looks as if Glenn Beck and Andrew Breitbart are going to reveal something truly painful.
Okay, that’s the exciting stuff, but there’s still some great stuff I want you to see.
John Graham is a friend of mine, and he’s really everything you’d want in a friend: he’s charming, thoughtful, intelligent and witty. He also has an extraordinary grasp of the market principles behind real health care reform, which he spells out in an article about Consumer Driven Health Care. I have my own anecdote to add to this. I am a tooth grinder. My health care provider finally agreed to pay for a jaw guard, and it sent me to the orthodontist who had the contract with my provider to make jaw guards. I saw the orthodontist for about 5 minutes during the first appointment. His tech took a mold (another five minutes) and I left. I then came back to pick up the guard. The tech made sure it fitted, and I left. I learned later that the orthodontist charged — and my provider paid — $765.00 in 1994 dollars for this little transaction. That did not count the $200 or so for the lab that made the guards. I currently pay for my own jaw guards — $400 for lab and dental costs.
Just so you know, any little poll bump Obama got from his wall-to-wall speeches is gone, at least insofar as real voters are concerned. Apparently once the great Mesmer stops speaking, and the fact checkers step in, the numbers fall. Lately, Obama’s claims have been so outlandish (I can cover more people, with more health care, for less money) every member of the audience is his or her own fact checker. It doesn’t mean Obama and Crew won’t use reconciliation to game the system, but it does mean that the in-your-face approach is broken.
Just as a wonderful palette cleanser, read what Jay Nordlinger has to say about the Mayor of San Ramon.
And so you know what we’re up against, we’re now learning that supporting the Constitution is racist.

Heh. San Bernardino today.
I doubt very much that Glenn Beck or anyone else will get Valerie Jarrett out of the White House. President Obama would just as soon divorce Michelle.
Gringo:
He threw the Rev. Wright under the bus.
He threw his granny under the bus.
He threw Van Pinko under the bus.
If he has to, he will throw his bodaciously bicepped harridan of a wife under the bus (figuratively speaking—the poor machine would dissolve from one of her acid looks).
So you’re probably right about Valerie.
Re Charles’s San Bernadino post:
One would have thought that after the release of the FIRST such ACORN video, the whole organization would have been alert to the trap, and have prepared themselves accordingly. One consequence to the MSM’s lack of coverage of the ACORN videos is that fewer people, and fewer ACORN employees, are aware of the videos. Which means that ACORN people continue as they usually would: advising illegal acts for clients.
After four such videos, only the most abject of ACORN apologists will be able to claim that this is an exception. The law of large numbers states that a random sample tends to be proportionate to the whole. Four attempts, four exposures of ACORN employees advocating illegality.’Nuff said. (Though they may have visited more than four ACORN offices. I don’t know.)
I know nothing about how ACORN is organized, but would surmise that one reason for the word not getting out to the troops about the prostitution videos is that ACORN is very decentralized, which would mean that while the head office is very much aware of the issue, the structure for getting the troops to do an about-face and do it YESTERDAY does not exist.
The following video of Charles Gibson at ABC illustrates the total cluelessness/ignorance/ostrich stance of the MSM.

The videos are most likely already taken. HG mentioned on Glen Beck that she spent her life savings on this.
I had wondered just exactly why that would have been to video one place. Add in time out of work, trips to NY and other places, and these videos are an explanation of what she spent that money on. This was all setup in advance.
It would be unwise and foolish to try to get ACORn after you have already informed them that they were under attack. It is never a good idea to warn someone like Saddam that you are out to get them, then wait for them to counter-attack.
The three staff members knew what their only option was at this point. “If you want him to do something,” Gunn would later tell me, “there are two people he’s not going to say no to: Valerie Jarrett and Michelle Obama.”
Talk about a man with a spine. What a piece of *X*
Obama’s irritation grew. “Man, it’s late, I’m tired,” he snapped. “I’m not going to any sorority event.”
The whinny little boy that can’t take on big responsibilities.
Man, I’m tired. Tell the Joint Chiefs I don’t want to hear about any nukes being launched until tomorrow.

As I understand it, this is the result of a lengthy operation; I don’t think they’re pulling these operations now.
Ymarsakar and Charlie(Colorado): your view sounds more plausible. ACORN may be stupid, but not THAT stupid.
They may still be that stupid but they are also ruthless and evil. One shouldn’t underestimate the two latter qualities.
