Obama continues to add to the low tone of American politics *UPDATED*

If I recall, Barack Obama promised Americans that, with his smooooth personality (sort of the personality equivalent of Barry White’s voice), he would head an unusually civil, non-cynical, bipartisan administration.  Aside from the fact that this is most decidedly not happening, do any of you ever recall a sitting President taking such nasty, personal shots at the opposing party?

This, of course, is part of the same package that has him waging all out war against a single media outlet that won’t toe the line.  I guess when you have Dreams of Big Brother, it’s pretty offensive when all don’t fall before you and spout the appropriate propaganda and mouth the phrases of worship.

Obama will never figure out that, in America, once you’ve won, you stop crawling around in the mud fighting.  When you’re president, you’re not supposed to look like this:

That kind of dirty fight is for the campaign trail.  As President, even though we all understand that you side with your party and what to achieve its goals, you’re still supposed to create the illusion that you lead a United States.  I’ll say again what I’ve said before:  Barack Obama is a very bad man.  I mean this literally.  He lacks decency.  He is unkind, immoral, and a liar, whether he’s talking about closing Gitmo, keeping a united Jerusalem, supporting the war in Afghanistan, health coverage for illegal aliens, missile defense for Poland and the CzechRepublic, or anything else where he’s made gross factual misstatements to the American people and to the world.

UPDATE:  This seems like a useful place to add a link to Jennifer Rubin’s analysis about how the President’s misplaced partisanship is leading him to a total leadership failure in Afghanistan.  As she rightly points out, his base has nowhere to go.  Even if he leads strongly in Afghanistan, they’ll still cling to him for his domestic policies.
