A blast from the past

When I was a little girl, one of my favorite Disney rides was Monsanto’s Journey Through Inner Space. Although it was plowed down to make room for Space Mountain Star Tours, you can revisit it here. It’s cheesier than I remember, but I love the enthusiasm about the miracles of modern science.

UPDATE: Doug thinks Star Tours took its place, not Space Mountain. I bet he’s right, too, so I’ve corrected my text. All I know is that it was replaced by a ride that made me motion sick and that either Star Tours or Space Mountain would fit the bill.

A Blast from the Past, one of my 10 funniest movies. If you have never seen it, get it. Dirt cheap.

I believe it was actually where Star Tours is now.

Definitely Star Tours, as I rode both Journey through Inner Space and Space Mountain back a million years ago.
