Good Newt/Bad Newt.  When he is good, he is very, very good; but, when he is bad he is horrid.

I really like Newt as a political philosopher and tormentor of Liberals, but I am just not sure that  I want him in the White House.

I don’t know how many McCains we can afford. The hand-picked GOP candidate in 2008 cost us $6 billion for starters.
Mitt-Milk Toast struggles with the language under pressure from fellow conservatives.  What will he do under deluge from the DNC. Santorum doesn’t have the money for Florida. Perry’s bloom has faded and RP…well what can I say RIP.

You go to war with the army you have – not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time.

Maybe we can get Romney to fire people off of welfare so Newt can hire ‘em :)  Back in the day we used to be to say teach a man to fish and he’ll eat for a lifetime but now it’s teach a man to fish, you’ll be fined for teaching without a license and they’ll make it so expensive he won’t be able to afford it so they can hand out the Gov’t cheese or cell phones.

No ‘doc’ cell phones no doubt. Welcome to the new world DIS-order. I noticed the additional fees on my landline several years ago (ugh). I so resented paying the fees twice, including my cell phone, that I switched to another company offering the lowest possible rate – but far from free.

Speaking of hiring … the current admin. just hired a Bain partner/buddy of Mitt’s to the OMB.

The only reason why Newt isn’t on top, is because he was relentlessly destroyed by our own conservative media:
    - Ann Coulter
    - Mark Steyn
    - Glenn Beck
    - And even Rush Limbaugh jumped on the bandwagon.

Now why would they do that, knowing that this would nominate Romney? Who happens to be the only person who can’t run against Obamacare, which is THE central issue of the elections? I can think of only one explanation, and that is that Mitt Romney has paid them. After all Mitt is loaded, and our conservative media are only human. Meaning that they want to get paid too, just like all the other elitist vultures out there.

The only person who can’t be bought is Sarah Palin, she’s the only one (maybe with Mark Levin) who’s steadfast enough to support the only man who can defeat Barack Obama: Newt. I hope Newt will pull it off. Only the survival of Western civilization depends on it.

If you’re Ann Coulter, why wouldn’t you sell your influence to the highest bidder? (in this case Mitt Romney?) There’s billions being spent on these elections, so why wouldn’t you get paid? After all, a cool $ 1 million is still a cool $ 1 million. And why would the politician get all the goodies of his election, for him and his cronies, while the opinion maker who got him there gets nothing? That doesn’t sound fair, now does it? The opinion maker wants to get paid too. Media and politics are so intertwined, I don’t think we the people know less than 1% of what’s really going on behind the curtains.

But get this. Even though propaganda is more powerful, the Left constantly talks about increasing “security” by controlling guns and nuclear weapons… you ever wondered why when the Left utilizes propaganda as their primary weapon?

I think Reagan’s humor was talking about the South. The South used to be a Democrat fiefdom, just like urban and rural blacks are now.

The South broke free. How? Find the answer to that, and maybe people might have a clue about liberating blacks. Liberating Iraqis is fine, but you’d better liberate the blacks, else, you might never have a chance to before the end of your own freedom.

Mark – if you’re Ann Coulter you don’t sell your influence because (A) you’re from New Canaan, CT.,  you’re very successful, and you don’t need the dough – a million dollars means rather less when you already have a bunch of them;  (B) you’re far too fond of your own opinions and beliefs, and having way too much fun expressing them just as they are; (C) what makes you successful at what you do is that you have established a track record of not being for sale, and that independence and integrity is a big piece of who you are and why people read you; and (D) if you do need another condo in Manhattan, you can assemble your columns from the last year, and have them out in hard cover in about three weeks, which will put an extra million in your pocket in a matter of months, and you won’t have to touch your investments.

I suspect she says Newt’s a train wreck because she genuinely believes Newt’s a train wreck.  The world is filled with people who agree, among them the republican caucus, who fired him as house speaker.  He’s an idea man, no question – but his record of running things, up to and including his own life, is eminently questionable.  And today, I see, his past has reared its head to bite him in the ass yet again.  Ann Coulter is not his ex-wife, she didn’t do it.  Nor did Steyn, Beck, or Limbaugh.  Newt, if relentlessly destroyed, has – not for the first time – taken dead aim squarely at his own foot, and worked to relentlessly destroy himself.  That’s at the heart of every problem he has: him.  He’s like the Hollywood caricature of the brilliant idea man: put him in a box in the corner and let him think for you, but don’t, under any circumstances, let him out of the box.  He’ll make you wish you hadn’t.

I love it when Newt fights back against the libs.  He’s so good at this that it warms my heart.  I continue to like the guy.  That counts for a lot.
