Sunday Open Thread

I’m sorry to offer another Open Thread, but I continue to be up to my whatsit in family obligations — and they trump even the joys of blogging.  I should have most of this family work wrapped up by Thursday, at which point I can resume my regularly scheduled blogging activities.  Until then, it will be a bit hit and miss.

Tomorrow night — and I’m boasting here — I will not be blogging since I will be dining with Danny Lemieux and Charles Martel.  Woo-hoo!!  This is our second dinner get-together and, if it is anywhere near as enjoyable as our first, I’m in for a rare treat.

Oh!  I do have one thing to offer you while I’m off cleaning out closets and hauling boxes.  John, of The City Square, has some wonderful photos of the Tea Party Tax Day protest in San Francisco.  Several of my friends were there (yay for them!).  Mostly, it is incredibly impressive that the protest weight in the City of San Francisco, a weight that has for decades been to the Left, is now shifting Right-wards.  For those of you unfamiliar with San Francisco, this is, as our august Vice President would say, a BFD.  (Yes, he’d say it more obscenely than I, but you get my point.)
