Another apology to all those whose emails I “ignored”

“Ignoring” an email sounds like a conscious, dismissive act.  I acquit myself of that.  However, as I’ve mentioned before, I’ve had a bit of a time lately keeping track of the traffic in my inbox.  I’m instituting a better filter system now, but I’m still stumbling across emails from months ago that I wish I’d answered.  By now, of course, it seems foolish to reply.

Please forgive me — and don’t stop writing.

Hi Book!  Just going through my Reader and caught this post of yours and thought I’d tell you about a neat little program that seems to help with the email problem.  It’s called Active Inbox.  Their website is:
    http://activeinboxhq.com/
and they have both a free and a paid version.

I love your blog.  I grew up in the SF Bay Area in the 60s and 70s so I can relate to a lot of what you talk about.  :)
