The moment I read about Michelle Obama’s bathetic (and heavily embroidered) description of her poverty-stricken years with the young prep school and Ivy League graduate, Barack Obama, I knew instantly where she’d found her inspiration:

I went right there too. Two minds with but a single thought. Scary telepathy.
Not scary telepathy at all, vanderleun. Instead, a perfect example of great minds thinking alike.
In the American South that particular verbal skill in known as “pore-mouthin’”.
“…poverty-stricken years with the young prep school and Ivy League graduate,…” What the hell kind of IL grad doesn’t go immediately into a good job? Especially one who is alleged to be extremely intelligent. (Of course, we’ll never know for sure since his records are in hiding.)
And I doubt Moochelle ever watched MP. She wouldn’t have understood the humor.
