Skip your coffee today and donate the money to the Freeport Flag Ladies
I didn’t know it, but there’s an official name for the organization that goes to the airport in Bangor, Maine to say goodbye to the troops as they head out from American soil: the Freeport Flag Ladies. They’re now trying to raise money for a special 9/11 commemoration. If you go to their web page (see link, above), you can donate to the cause.
I recommend doing so. Even in the absence of any evidence, the past two plus years tell us with absolutely certainty that the Obama administration will make a hash of this important anniversary. Instead, of focusing on America and American virtues, we’ll get endless iterations of PC internationalism, focusing on citizens of the world, served with up with healthy dollops of fuzzy Leftism and encomiums to the “religion of peace.”
In the absence of an American government, it’s up to the American people to make the important holidays count.
