It’s been one of those days.  Between demands on my time (and I’m scooting out now for the Fall Parent-Teacher conference) and an absolute vacuum in my brain today, I just haven’t had anything to say.  However, I do have stuff to read, with wonderful things from the Watcher’s Council. 

As always, it was a good week at the Watcher’s Council.  Indeed, I’d say it was a better week than usual, because we’ve traveled back to our roots and made an effort to nominate blog posts, rather than syndicated articles, in the non-Council category.  It made for much more varied

Last week, I think we had something of a first at the Watcher’s Council:  a six-way tie for second place.  Wow!  What this means is that we all submitted such uniformly good posts we were unable to decide anything but that the winner, The Glittering Eye, did a fantastic job.
