Savage RNC attack on Obama’s cavalier response to the spill

This one should go viral:

Incidentally, we know now that this meeting, when it finally took place, was scheduled to last only 20 minutes and that, while it ran longer, Obama had left the building.  And yes, I know that the White House managed to squeeze cash out of BP, but that’s still not actually doing anything.

Great video – thanks for posting it; But, I don’t know whether I should laugh or cry.  Actually, I’m doing a little of both at the same time.

And, Book, taking money from those who create it is about the only thing that some liberals are good at.

I’m starting to get impressed with some of the video productions and ads coming from those on the right.  The mastering of these types of communications is key if we have any hopes of getting others to at least be open to our ideas.

That being said, I’m still not contributing to the GOP.  They still have a lot of work to do to win me over.

I agree, Deana.  There are some good hard-hitting ads coming out of the RNC lately.  And some candidates have local ads, especially in the South, that are really good and in-your-face too.

But what I really like on the conservative side recently is the humor.  For decades, it seemed to me, all the good humor was on the Left.  The right couldn’t seem to tell a joke for trying.  But I am seeing more and more truly great humor coming from the right.   Some of the best are in the video format too, which is where the battle will be fought and won.  Or lost.

There’s that insanely catchy music video that came out less than two days after Obama’s “kick some ass” moment with Matt Lauer on the Today Show.  It was circling endlessly in my head yesterday, I couldn’t get rid of it.

Obama: I talk to the experts, experts, so I know whose ass to kick
    Lauer: Kick some butt
Obama: So I know whose ass to ki-i-i-i-ick.  So I know whose ass to kick
    Lauer: Kick some butt
then transitioning to the fake female reporter who lists Obama’s “experts”, breaking into song, with him saying “Expert” to each one.  (Chuck Norris! (Expert) Betty White! (Expert) Tinky Winky! … … … (Expert)

And then, with great re-verb production values make it a perfect satire to me.  How’d he come up with this and get it out there in only two days?

If you didn’t see it, it’s good:
