Obama: The man who is his own God takes waging a war of words to a whole new level

Obama haloObama’s followers have long likened him to god. If you doubt that, just check out “Is Barack Obama the Messiah?” for example after example of Obama’s acolytes implicitly or explicitly referring to him as a messiah or God.

We’ve also discussed here whether Obama thinks of himself as a God. Two pieces of evidence pop into my mind, the first of which is his speech when he became the official Democrat presidential nominee in 2008:

I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth.

That’s not politics; that’s faith.

The second piece of evidence is a statement Obama made indicating that, in his own mind, he is a God because he gets to define right and wrong. Thus, he has defined sin as “being out of alignment with my values.” There is no room for God-given morality or even societal morality in Obama’s world. He is the God.

What we also know about Obama is that he’d always rather talk than act. To him, talk is action. His word is God-like. Obama may not be much of a Christian, but he seems to have an innate understanding of John 1:1: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

It’s in this context, the one in which Obama thinks of himself as a Messiah whose words are God-like, that you’ll enjoy this picture that Sadie sent me, with the heading “Obama, saving the World with a Hashtag Blitzkrieg.”

Have you tried out the trick I suggested, of capturing Hussein’s audio where he says “bring a gun”, and using it to brow beat his followers into acknowledging the power of guns in America for defense?

These zombies are conditioned to Obey his voice by now. You should try it and watch what happens.

David Remnick, an Obama biographer and the editor of the New Yorker, said this morning on national TV that President Obama is disappointed in the world:
“The profile [of President Obama] that I published in the New Yorker was somebody that eerily, eerily seemed to be claiming himself–it was a sense of not giving up, but of deep frustration–that was the profile that I published in the New Yorker. Somebody frustrated and disappointed,” said Remnick, who has proven to be deeply sympathetic to this president. “And that’s what’s frustrating to me sometimes about Obama is that the world seems to disappoint him,” he continued to laughter from others on the TV set. “Republicans disappoint him, Bashar al-Assad disappoints him, Putin as well. And the fighting spirit sometimes is lacking in the performative aspects of the presidency.”

The world has failed him. WE have failed him. Can we ever be forgiven?

Once before God was disappointed in the world and he sent the flood.  Be on the alert if Michelle goes shopping for a big boat.

But if the oceans continue to rise, then Obama isn’t God, is he?  So if the oceans don’t rise, he IS God.  It’s all so confusing.

Hitler believed the Germans and Aryans had failed him. That’s why he wanted to see Germany entirely destroyed by the Allies and the Russians, before hanging himself. Because if the Germans won’t achieve victory for Hitler, Hitler will be extremely disappointed.

Is that a halo or a bowl of chocolate mousse behind his head?   Romans 16:18b…..by their smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of the simple (or naive or unsuspecting—depending on the translation).

He’s a narcissist (as you’ve well examined), so of course he thinks he’s God. Probably thinks he’s a better god than God, just as he’s a better speechwriter than his speechwriter, etc.
I also suspect he also doesn’t mention God because his term of choice would reveal his religious leanings. I’d bet it’s “Allah” instead of “God,” though his own words indicate that he’s more spiritual than religious. Then again, there’s that speculation about the gold ring he’s worn since college (looks like a wedding band) is inscribed with “No god by Allah” in Arabic.

once Obama is no longer president, I believe all the masks will slip.  We’re going to find out LOTS of interesting things.

    Eventually.

I just hope that it is while I am still alive, before I have been shipped off to be turned into Soylent Green, because I am too old and infirm, and a drain on medical resources…
