I’m not imagining it….

My life is busier lately.  Much busier.  Between the new work plan (which takes away all my morning free time, but provides a lovely stable income) and between the ever accelerating demands of the kids’ schedules (sports and friends and homework), I feel as if I can’t breath anymore — let along blog with regularity.  That’s part of the reason for the blog silence.

The other reason, right now, is lack of inspiration.  A lot of air went out of my tire when the election ended.  Obama is now a fait accompli and I’m just watching and waiting.  So far, he’s shown himself to be every bit as dishonest as I had anticipated.  The surprise, though, is that his dishonesty is hewing slightly conservative, not radically progressive — showing that he’s no fool.

Obama said anything and did anything to get elected and, now that he’s elected, is discovering that Bush wasn’t the idiot everyone (Obama included) said he was. Still, Bush is still President, and Obama still has his scary entourage, many of whom he recovered from under the bus.  I suspect I’ll have a lot to blog about come the latter part of January and onwards from there.
