Bowing to Obama, U.S. Senate, in one fell swoop, destroys jobs and dramatically decreases American security.  Are the voters paying attention?

Obama may not be reading the monstrous health care bill, but others are.  Current bad provisions are the destruction of private insurance, a point as to which Obama out and out lied; mandatory counseling for older people, apparently in an effort to convince them to forego care; and, now, tax payer funded racial preferences.

Mr. Bookworm has finally accepted that I refuse to go to England because refuse to give my money to a country that is becoming radically antisemitic.  I wouldn’t have gone to Germany in the 1930s, and I won’t go to Britain now.  I need to remember to send him this article to reenforce my point.

Just FYI, a lot of Republicans are contending for a seat in California’s 10th Congressional District (along with a few Dems and a lot of fringe people).  Let’s hope that the voters, seeing what Dems run amok can do, will give those Republican candidates (in a district that was formerly Democratic) a lot of consideration.

Dennis Prager thinks that voters are very swiftly figuring out what Dems run amok can do.

Of course, there are still people who are convinced that government is the answer, preferring manifestly troubled (and possibly corrupt) government management to more efficient private management with government oversight.

I’m not the only one underwhelmed by Cronkite’s impact on America and the world.

Modern political life goes beyond parody when the Surgeon General’s weight is considered a serious subject.

Barring the earth abruptly tilting on its access, Sotomayor is in.  But even party loyalists aren’t happy.

Speaking of unhappy loyalists, a fervent Roosevelt supporter (meaning someone who likes the new deal in theory), is very unhappy with the blind rigidity that characterizes the Obama administration.  Even people who voted for Obama because they thought it was time for a black man to be president, are starting to remember their own economic self-interest.

Given all of the above, is it a surprise that the American people don’t rank Obama very high on the chain.
