Sorry for the blog silence. I was severely underslept yesterday and had the chance for a late morning today. Since I woke up, other than cleaning my gun (see below), I’ve been working.
I did something fun yesterday: I took a class to get my concealed weapons permit. I learned a lot about gun safety and carrying laws, and I got to hone my shooting skills. The teacher was good and my fellow classmates were congenial and conservative.
That fun, though, lasted most of the day, which cut into work. I ended up working until after 4 a.m. By the time I got to sleep, I’d been awake for 22 hours.
Here’s my exhortation for the day: Remember, no matter what happens, we are not hysterical, neurotic, miserable, weeping, savage lefists. We are people who will continue to find joy in our lives, all while we fight the good fight.
