The Watchers have spoken and they were kind enough to cast enough votes my way to give me first place amongst Council posts.  Frankly, I’m pretty proud, because my post was in a field crowded with the usual high quality thinking and analysis that comes from my fellow council members.

Over at the Watcher’s Council, this week was a sweep week for Laer Pearce, of Cheat-Seeking Missiles.  It was his excellent post on McCain’s failed (failing?) messaging strategy took first place on the Council side, and his nominated post about the Left and manufactured crisis that won on the non-Council
