Amber Alert issued for three children taken at gunpoint in Carson

Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for three children who were abducted at gunpoint in Carson.

Los Angeles County Sheriff‘s Deputy Ruben Alvarez says the children, ages 1, 8 and 11, were taken at about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday at Avalon and Del Amo boulevards. Alvarez says the biological parents took the children from their foster parents.  (Emphasis mine.)

The suspects may be driving a green 2000 Land Rover, license plate 5GKJ367.
