Is this supposed to worry me?
Clearly, swine flu is spreading, with 10,243 cases reported worldwide. There have also been 80 deaths. Now, I’m no math maven, but my simple math tells me this is a .0078 mortality rate. My question: Is a .0078 mortality rate supposed to worry me? ‘Cause if it is, I’d better get worried quick. Right now, I’m yawning. (And yes, I do realize that this could get worse in the fall, but a whole let else could also happen, both with the swine flu and with the world in general.)
