Nyah, nyah, nyah-nyah-nyah!
Must gloat: I had lunch today with both Don Quixote and Charles Martel. Aside from scintillating conversation, I think I was able to bully both of them into thinking about guest posts for the blog. So they wouldn’t feel too pressured, I said the deadline was for a year from now — but I was just kidding. I’m expecting something soon.
On another topic entirely, what are the odds that two siblings, kids I went to school with in the 1960s and 1970s, one a boy, one a girl (not twins), should both turn out gay? Nature? Nurture? A combination of the two? I found it interesting, especially because, not having had any contact with them for 35 years, meeting up with one of them on Facebook after a 35 year hiatus meant that I learned about both of them simultaneously.
I know that it’s ordinary to have siblings who are both (or all) straight, but that’s because, statistically, most of the population is straight anyway. If only a small percentage of the population is gay, what are the chances that it would happen twice in one family?
