Just because — Earth, Wind & Fire

I still remember back in high school, when I was already deeply enmeshed in my bookish ways, hearing a classmate look at me with complete awe when I admitted to liking Earth, Wind & Fire.  Apparently they had me pegged as a Lawrence Welk type.
