The March of the Unconstitutional Regulatory State
Our nation is being altered by regulations with the force of law and created without any vote by our elected representatives.
How can this happen in the United States . . .:
From Instapundit:
CRISIS BY DESIGN: The EPA’s Latest Regulation Could Devastate The Trucking Industry. “The EPA’s rule, which is more than 80% stricter than the previous regulation, will require large trucks, delivery vans and buses manufactured after 2027 to cut nitrogen dioxide emissions by nearly 50% by 2045, according to an agency press release. The agency’s rule is intended to push truckers to phase out diesel-powered vehicles and use electric vehicles (EV) instead; however, the compliance costs associated with such rules could suffocate an industry that is not ready to transition to EVs, experts told the DCNF.”
Yeah, also the rolling blackouts make it hard to charge your truck.
. . . when not a single one of our elected representatives in Congress voted for this regulation — a regulation that comes with the force of law, working fundamental changes to society. It’s not as if our Constitution grants all power to pass laws in this nation solely to our elected officials in Congress. Oh wait . . .
U.S. Constitution Art. 1 § 1
All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.
There has never been an Amendment to our Constitution to give legislative authority to the regulatory bureaucracy. There has never been an amendment to our Constitution to allow Congress to sidestep its sole and only power, to approve all legislation that governs our nation.
The regulatory bureaucracy is a progressive creation embraced by both parties. It is a toxin in our nation that nullifies the beating heart of our Constitution, checks and balances.
And there is no greater joke on America than that played by John Robers and the gelded conservative Supreme Court when they adopted the amorphous and wholly subjective “major questions doctrine.”
- West Virginia v. EPA Part I (The Regulatory State)
- West Virginia v. EPA Part II (The Climate Change Canard and Juggernaught)
- West Virginia v. EPA Part III (The Court’s Useless Major Questions Doctrine)
Our nation will be destroyed by progressives operating extra-constitutionally or our nation returns to government in compliance with the Constitution and its amendments. There is no in-between.
