I’m getting my blood pressure checked again today. I’m hoping it’s dropped so that I don’t need to start taking meds. Sigh. Anyway, if it hasn’t dropped, you can be assured that the subject matter of these clever cartoons and posters contributed to its rise:
Continue readingI finally got my Christmas cards out, which is always such a Herculean task. It shouldn’t be, since I do the whole thing online. Moreover, I actually like sending out cards. The reason I delay is because I always hope that I’ll find that perfect picture of the children. At a
Continue readingI won’t waste time with talk, as I have some excellent pictures, thanks to Caped Crusader:
Continue readingI’ve been going through my email, as well as through my “real me” Facebook today, and I find some interesting — and surprising — things. Here goes: The Islamic hostage crisis in Sydney My thoughts and prayers are with the hostages trapped in the Lindt Cafe in Sydney, Australia’s historic
Continue readingI was talking with a friend of mine about the totally false alleged rape epidemic on America’s college campuses. While the epidemic may be false, the destruction wrought on young men is very real. Moreover, as false accusations crowd out the real ones, those young women (and men) who are

Continue readingA cold has been making the rounds in my neighborhood and it finally caught up with me. I don’t feel particularly ill, but I feel congested and quite desperately sleepy. I had a great deal to do today, and mostly managed to re-read Agatha Christie’s Mrs. McGinty’s Dead, which wasn’t
Continue readingA fellow conservative and I spoke last night about the primary emotion driving limousine liberals’ politics: Their politics announce to the world that each is “a good person.” It’s an extension of that saying that “conservatives view liberals as misguided; liberals view conservatives as evil.” The unspoken corollary to that
Continue readingI could just as accurately have entitled this post “The EXTREME illustrated edition,” because I’ve got a sizable backlog of wonderful posters (mostly from Caped Crusader). All are thought provoking and most are amusing. So please enjoy yourself:
